LKBC-2 Butterfly Valve sanitary

Application
LKBC-2 is a sanitary, manually operated butterfly valve which is used as a shut-off valve where there is a need for a valve easy to dismantle for cleaning and inspection, e.g. on farm milk tanks. Working principle The valve is manually operated by a handle. A disc closes against a rubber seal when the handle is at right angles to the pipeline. The disc is parallel to the product flow, when the handle is turned 900. The valve is then fully open. Standard design The valve body is made of two separate halves which are assembled by a clamp. A specially designed rubber seal is fixed between the two halves and a profiled disc closes against the seal. The LKBC-2 valve has a handle in stainless steel, which by the use of the standard locking cover ensures that the valve can be securely locked in the closed position.
