The Hall prox. switches are also non-contact electronic switching elements. The sensor registers a magnetic field (north pole) and consist of a Hall element (a type of a transistor) matching part, an amplifier and an output part. The output signal is always on/off, digital and much quicker than the inductive switch or the micro switch. The Hall prox. switch is ideal for modern computer processing. NPN and PNP are two types of transistors. The difference is the composition of positive or negative semiconductive materials in hall proximity switch.

Inductive proximity switch
This type of switch is a non-contact electronic switch. It consists of an oscillator which creates high frequency electromagnetic fields which radiate from the sensing face of the switch. Every approaching conductive metal (damping target) proximity switch causes a reduction of the electromagnetic field.
The result is a voltage change of the output of the oscillator. This analog signal can be changed by a Trigger circuit into an on/off signal and the output can be amplified in proximity switch.

Standard function is normally open (NO), normally closed (NC) and is always a digital signal (on/off). The micro switch used in indication units is furthermore enclosed

Canon EOS Digital Rebel XSi / 450D digital camera

The Canon EOS Rebel XS / 1000D digital camera marks a break from Canon's norm. Newly introduced Rebel DSLRs are usually the most feature-filled and highest priced models in the line - the Rebel XS / 1000D (Kiss F in Japan) was not. In addition, the Rebel XS introduction was on July 8th - an unusual date for a Canon DSLR-related announcement.

At announcement time, I thought this new model made a lot of sense. At the rate people are upgrading to DSLRs, having a low-end model targeted at point and shoot users sounded very reasonable to me. Unfortunately, when the Canon EOS Rebel XS / 1000D hit the streets, the more-feature-filled price had fallen to only a small amount higher than the Rebel XS's initial street price. For that reason, the XS no longer made sense to me - at that time. I was recommending the XSi over the XS and didn't put the effort into writing a prompt review of the XS.

Canon EOS Rebel XS / 1000D is the latest top-of-the-model-line canon eos digital camera Taking the momentum from that effort along with new street prices, I am once again giving attention to the Canon EOS Rebel XS / 1000D. The current (as of this review) price of the Rebel XS Kit is $150 less than the similar XSi Kit. The XS model once again makes a lot of sense - it is now a good option for those wanting DSLR image quality and performance at a low price.
